Entrance to Tokyo Character Street in Tokyo Station
About
Tokyo Character Street (東京キャラクターストリート) is a passage in the underground Tokyo Station "First Avenue" shopping complex that is filled with Japanese Character shops. Shops such as One Piece and Dragon Ball and Japanese popular characters such as Pokemon, Hello Kitty and Rilakkuma line the hall. Even if your not into Japanese Characters, it's a fun place to look around and view all the interesting stuff. If you are into Japanese Characters or an Anime fan, It's a great place to see and buy to your hearts content.
One of the best things about Tokyo Character Street is that it's simple to get to (just outside the tickets gates of Tokyo Station) and Tokyo Ramen Street is nearbye once your ready to eat. Tokyo Character Street is easy to find, just exit the Yaesu North Exit and go downstairs into the "First Avenue" shopping mall (see a simplified map below).
