Tokyo Dome and Amusement Park by Fg2 (CC0 1.0)
About
Tokyo Dome City (in Japanese; Tokyo Domu Shitei 東京ドームシティ) is an entertainment complex consisting of a baseball stadium, an amusement park, a large public "spa", a hotel and more! No need to plan anything else for the day if you plan on going to Tokyo Dome City... it will take all day AND you'll be tired out by the end of the day.
The "Dome" (called the "Big Egg" by Japanese) is the home of the Yomiuri Giants and Nippon Ham, two professional baseball teams. Of course they also hold large concerts by famous Japanese and international stars in the dome too. The "Big Egg" was built in 1988 which replaced an older stadium.
The large public "spa" call LaQua is a popular place for busy Tokyo'ites to enjoy hot springs pools, saunas, massages and other beauty services. Its about 2,500 yen to get in. Oh, the "Hot Springs" water is the real deal, even in the middle of Tokyo... it is brought to the surface from almost a kilometer underground!
Also there are some rides, including a pretty wild roller coaster! The Ferris Wheel makes for a relaxing and nice view of the surrounding city.
