About
Tobu World Square is a "Miniatures" Theme Park near Nikko Japan that was built in 1993. It is very close to "Kinugawaonsen" Station and in the town of Kinugawa Onsen (a Hot Springs town). It is also close to "Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura" so it is possible to make a full day of it by visiting both and then maybe stay at an Onsen (Japanese Hot Springs) in town for the night.
Tobu World Square has over a hundred scaled down models (at the 1:25 scale) of famous places in the world. The scaled down models also have over 140,000 miniature people! It took 5 years for artisans to make all the miniature models of world historical sites like the Parthenon, the Sphinx, the Great Wall of China and the World Trade Center. If you put your head down and pretend your "standing in front" of the real thing, its almost impossible to tell whether they are real or models.
