About
The main building / tower above Roppongi Hills is the Mori Tower, the large and beautiful main building that rises 54 stories high in Roppongi Tokyo. The tower was completed and opened in 2003 named after the builder Minoru Mori (August 24, 1934 - March 8, 2012 was considered to be one of Japan's most powerful and influential building tycoons). The 238 meter (780 ft.) tall Roppongi Hills Mori Tower is the centerpiece of the Roppongi Hills complex at the heart of Tokyo's Roppongi district. The building's 52nd floor houses the elegant Tokyo City View observation deck and the entrance to the excellent Mori Art Museum. The Mori Tower also features a regular observation deck inside at 218 meters (715 ft.) and a the 238 (780 ft.) meter high open air Sky Deck on the roof of the building with exhilarating, 360 degree views over the city.
