About
Akasaka Sacas is a shopping and residential area billed as a "City within a City" (like Roppongi Hills) in Akasaka, the center of Tokyo. It is next to the TBS TV (Tokyo Broadcasting System) building and is made up of 5 main buildings; TBS TV, an apartment building, two performance halls and the 39 story "Biz Tower" which also has a shopping mall on the first three floors. Akasaka Sacas holds various events throughout the year such as an ice rink in the winter, art competitions, Pro wresting matches, outdoor concerts, etc. but on normal days it's just a modern shopping center. The mall has a variety of restaurants, coffee shops and a movie theater. The TBS building and the performance halls draw lots of Japanese during certain concerts as entertainers famous in Japan may perform there.
