Yachiyo is a traditional Ryokan that has been opened since 1916. It was as designed in the traditional "sukiya" style of Japanese architecture, and the roofs of the main building are made of Japanese cypress. The landscape was designed by Jihe-e Ogawa who designed the world famous garden at Heian Jingu Shrine and it has 20 traditional Japanese rooms with private bath and toilet included. The Ryokan is famous for its Kyou Ryouri and Wagyu beef that can be chosen through an standard course, a deluxe course, and a luxury course and other specialties liek sushi, tempra, sukiyaki, shabushabu.
