Universal Studios Japan (in Japanese; Yunibasaru Sutajio jyapan ユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパン) is a mix of Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood containing selected attractions from both. Most visitors are Japanese however in recent years the park has become popular with the Chinese, Taiwanese and even visitors from the US. Since it's opening the park typically averages around 10 million visitors a year ranking it as one of the top ten visited parks in the World. The Universal Studios Japan is believed to be the first theme park that the Universal Studios brand built in Asia. It opened in March 2001 in the Osaka Bay Area, and the theme park occupies an area of 39 hectares.Inside the theme park there are different themes that tourists will see. It includes the Hollywood, New York, San Francisco, Jurassic Park, Waterworld, Amity Village, Universal Wonderland and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Guests will surely enjoy knowing that there are studio guides that are non-Japanese speakers like English, Chinese, and Korean.
