Toyoko Inn Hiroshima Heiwa Odori is a "Business Hotel" by Japanese standards. It is a VERY basic hotel, meaning its clean, you sleep and that's it. The rooms are very small, to the point if you have a large suitcase it may be difficult to open, with a plastic pod of a bathroom. This is an economy hotel mostly patronized by businessmen. The beds tend to be somewhat on the hard side but still comfortable. There is a built-in desk, chair, small refrigerator, speedy LAN connection in the room and also a computer in the lobby. Breakfast is a buffet of mostly Japanese food but is adequate. The hotel is about halfway between the railway station and the Peace Park. 10-15 min. walk to the peace park and 20-30 min. walk to the main JR Hiroshima Station.
