About
The Sunshine Aquarium is on the tenth floor of Sunshine City in Ikebukuro. They have everything from sea lions and stingrays to smaller snakes, frogs, and fish. They also have a performing seal show (about every hour) and fish feeding shows. The biggest draws are probably the giant manta rays and the huge sunfish (called mambo in Japanese). There's also a big colony of penguins, pelicans, and some random non-marine animals - two anteaters, a fennec, a lemur, and a couple of sleepy armadillos. The weekends can get quite busy here so if you visit on the weekend it may be best to arrive in the morning, weekdays are always less crowded.
The Sunshine Aquarium is in Ikebukuro. See Ikebukuro for more nearby attractions.
