Spa LaQua and Tokyo Dome City near Shinjuku
About

(Note: If you have tattoos do not attempt to visit this spa. You will be asked to leave, no exceptions.) Spa LaQua sits in the heart of Tokyo. It is a "get-away" hot springs for Tokyo'ites but feels more like a "Super Sento" (a "Sento" is a public bath house). Spa LaQua uses sodium-chloride-enriched hot spring water drawn from 1,700 meters underground, which is said to help circulation and relieve muscle ache, arthritis and neuralgia. There is a foot bath, an outdoor bath, a massage bubble bath, and multiple saunas... it is a "space for healing." Once you're done bathing, you can take advantage of a bewildering array of beauty treatments, from Korean body scrubs, traditional Thai and Hawaiian massages to aromatherapy. Be sure to also check out the various high-tech saunas in the separate Healing Baden zone. Put a few (or four) hours aside to visit Spa LaQua and TAKE YOUR TIME. Don't just shower, jump in, towel off and leave... make it a relaxing experience. Soak for a while, take a nap, hit the sauna, soak again and then another nap! Spend some luxurious time relaxing here, while enjoying the superb nighttime view of the beautiful Tokyo Dome.
