About
The Peace Osaka is also known as the Osaka International Peace Center (in Japanese; Piisu Osaka ピースおおさか). It is a small museum that opened in 1991 where it basically documents what happened to Osaka during World War II and the importance of peace. It has sections showcasing the Osaka Air Raids and the Daily Life of the People during those times. There is also a library and a Visual section where different materials can be checked out including books on wars and world peace, panels and picture-card shows on peace education, and videos. A walk through of the museum can be completed in about an hour so it can be just a minor stop (yet interesting) on a day full of Osaka adventure.
