You can quickly escape the craziness of Shibuya by strolling over to this Izakaya that is in a quiet alley between Shibuya and Ebisu. Namikibashi Nakamura is a "Modern" and "Classy" Izakaya with a trendy atmosphere... in an intimate setting. Even the dishes themselves are served on heavy stone and earthenware. As per most all Izakaya's you can order most anything here from Sashimi to Yakitori and of course a wide range of drinking selections.

From the South Exit of Shibuya JR Station, cross the highway (Route 246), then walk along the left side of Meiji-dori. Just before the Namikibashi Crossing (the 2nd traffic lights), turn left up a side street. The steps to Nakamura are on the left at the back of the building.
