About
Nagomi-Ryokan Yuu is a traditional wooden town-house (in Japanese: "Machiya) in the heart of Kyoto. Historically, this old wooden Minshuku (Japanese Style Lodging) was once used as Ochaya (a tea house for Geisha and Maiko) around 80 years ago. Today, the building is newly renovated in the old Machiya style giving guests a homey feeling. Walking distance from Kyoto Station makes it convenient for those who want to go sightseeing. All the guest rooms are classic Japanese-style, there is a courtyard Japanese garden, tea room for Japanese tea ceremonies and a relaxing cafe serving breakfast and coffee to make guests feel comfortable as possible.
