About
Hozugawa River Cruise (In Japanese;r Hozugawa Kudari) is a tourist sightseeing adventure where you ride traditional Japanese river boats down the Hozugawa River. The Hozugawa river was used in the old days for centuries and a transport of logs to Kyoto to build all the wood buildings. In modern times it is used for recreation, tourism and fishing. The cruise takes only about two hours and is a nice change of pace to sit down and relax while enjoying some Japanese scenery. The river does get just slightly rough in some spots but absolutely nothing to worry about except an occasional splash here and there. The cruise is especially popular with the Japanese in the fall because of the Autumn colors.
