About

Opened in 2013 the Grand Front Osaka (in Japanese; Gurando Furonto Osaka グランフロント大阪) is a popular commercial center near JR Osaka Station at the Umeda district. With lots of shops, restaurants, an Intercontinental hotel, office and event space, as well as a residential tower people visit Grand Front for shopping, playing and business. It was part of a modernization project to revitalize the north to Osaka station into a popular shopping and commercial district. One of the go-to places is the South Building which as a skyscraper on top of it and it connected to the Osaka Station via the elevated walkway.
