About

Have you ever seen the movie Kill Bill (Rotten Tomatoes, Wikipedia)? Well, Gonpachi Izakaya (Izakaya means "a restaurant that has a little of everything") was the inspiration behind the famous restaurant fight scene for director Quentin Tarantino in that movie. The food is really good and the atmosphere is great. For tourists visiting Tokyo this is an easy place to dine at because they are so used to foreigners and it has a great "Izakaya" feeling. However... it can get extremely crowded at key times (Dinner, Weekends) so be prepared to wait if you go during popular times.
