About
Garam is a swinging, foreign-owned Jamaican dance hall and reggae club in Shinjuku. Its size is quite small that it had been jokingly likened to a walk-in closet. But still it's cool, unpretentious and the friendly owner and staff make it a popular hangout for devotees.
As an institution for reggae in Tokyo, it hosts MCs, DJs and live events. A mix of dub, hip-hop and roots reggae spun by the in-house DJ is a staple but guest DJs occasionally hosts.
The club is also good for groups, parties and catering.
