About
The Footnik is one of the more football-centric of Tokyo's British pubs which became very popular during the 1998 World Cup to fans as well as regular travellers to Japan. Through to British-style pubs, the atmosphere is very informal where tables are not assigned. One can basically come up to the bar counter, order a drink or some food, find a seat (share a table if those are the only seats available). The warm, welcoming and often rowdy atmosphere make it easy for customers to come along, mingle and start chatting football with others around them. This is a regular spot for post-work chat, catching up on local news and of course, having great British food and drink. More than this, music and promotions and other fun events are held where friends can share or help customers raise funds for the charities they support.
