This is a club which is meant more for gaping around and patrons to be gaped at, rather than obliviously dancing the night away to your favorite music. Curiously, the Trump Room is not so easy to find in a discreet location of Shibuya and do not maintain a website and email address, possibly on purpose, to maintain an air of exclusivity.

The building itself is unremarkable from the outside, but the inside is lavished by an almost over-the-top interior with gold motif and more than hundred chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Although these still provide a dimly lit ambiance which is both cool and intoxicating. There are about three floors featuring the same crazy decor. The walls are lined up with booths all around to the other side.

As remarkable as the above are the outlandish fancy dress and fashion, bordering on the impractical and obscene, worn by regular clientele. It seems the opportunity for this display is the main lure of the club, all other things are secondary.

Nevertheless, the music selection varies usually from hip-hop, rap, to techno, the average club music but with lots of western music. You can move from one floor to another if its too crowded, or the music does not suit your tastes.

Additional pluses for the club are reasonably priced drinks, good DJs, friendly and approachable guests to make friends with, and the numerous velvet sofas upon which you can space out when tired during the wee hours.

From the west exit, turn right and walk to go past Tower Records. Take the left on the next intersection. After about 10 meters, turn right towards the end of the street. It is near Camelot, but instead of turning left to get to Camelot, continue down the street until you hit the end. On your right and tucked in the corner is Trump Room. The sign, which is on the wall by the stairs, is hard to see and the bouncers look like guys just hanging around. It is about an 8-minute walk from the station.
