The outdoor pool at Ryugujo Spa Hotel Mikazuki in Chiba Prefecture
About
Ryugujo Spa Hotel Mikazuki is a large Hotel Resort on the opposite side of Tokyo Bay on the Chiba Peninsula. You can get to the resort quickly (in about an hour and a half) by car or express train from Tokyo. The resort offers a wide variety of hot spring baths, an indoor pool and outdoor pools in the summer. Although it is a hotel, you can also visit the pools and hot springs only for the day if you like. The resort is geared toward families so expect a mid-range level of service and quality of food. If you are visiting Japan for a vacation, this resort may not be a destination worth your time but if you live in the Kanto Area it might be a fun place for an over-night excursion.
