About
Daimaru Tokyo Station is a large department store that is within/part of the Tokyo Station complex. It is a high-end department store that sells top quality luxury brand products such as clothes, accessories, souvenirs and miscellaneous goods. You can find Louis Vuitton, Hermes and Prada here along with Rolex and Omega watch brands. The store has 13 floors and a basement and they claim that over 25 million people visit the store in a year. The 12th floor contains a variety of around 15 restaurants while the 13th floor contains just one high class Italian Restaurant called XEX which gives you a stunning view over the Tokyo area while you eat.
One of the best things about Dairmaru Tokyo Station is the food area in the basement. Once you go in, you won't want to leave! There is a large sweets area and a large pre-made food and Bento area. The food area is the perfect place to pick up a Bento for a ride on the Shinkansen down to Kyoto or Osaka. We highly recommend stopping in at the Daimaru and picking up some food before getting on your train. You can find all kinds of great food here from Western style to Japanese style and it's all tasty, high quality stuff!
Daimaru Tokyo station is easy to find, just exit the Yaesu North or Central Exits and you'll run into it. The Food Area is downstairs B1 (see a simplified map below).
